I was told Kaspersky was the best product for finding virus' and protection of my system. I agree it found the virus, but it did not get rid of it (it did quarrantine it). It was difficult to know what to do next after it located the trouble. I ended up reinstalling my operating system to get rid of the virus', and adding in Kaspersky at the onset to protect against further attacts. The scans failed for two months without any notice from the program due to a "incorrct password". I had the password protection turned off, and fixing the problem was as simple as turning it on and establishing a password. However, I spent 45 minutes in a live-chat with the tech and the very first thing he did without asking me any questions is to tell me to uninstall the program and reinstall it. I did not take his advise so easily as I was sure to have the same problem with the program since I had never established the "incorrect password" in the first place. The program was not giving me a window to type in ANY password, it was just failing each scheduled scan due to the wrong password. After 45 minutes I volunteered that my OS was Windows 7, and the tech simply replied "We don't support Windows 7". He said maybe I could try to contact them "sometime" around October when the OS goes public. He failed to lead me through any questions and to help me determine where I could find a window in order to type in a password in the first place. After I hung up with him, I went to the password option (that I had not established), and I fixed the problem myself by simply establishing a password). Kaspersky does work with Windows 7, just don't try to ask them how. I would not buy this again due to their idiotic tech who seemd to know less about his product than I do.
