Another Trojan is on the loose that affects Windows users that don't have proper antivirus software. The Troj/TDSS-FU virus is here and hackers are excited to use it in order to get your personal information. The Troj/TDSS-FU is designed to infect Windows 32-bit executable programs.

The backdoor Troj/TDSS-FU virus is a malicious program which allows hackers to remotely access a computer and perform various operations. This specific trojan is known for exploiting security holes in Windows and puts personal and private information in jeopardy. Viruses of this type help hackers with data theft, deletion or modifications of files, keystroke logging, and mass spammings.

The Troj/TDSS-FU can appear on your computer in a variety of ways. Trojan horses can look like part of a software application, and they find their way to your computer when you download shared files, open email attachments, instant message, and visit websites that contain executable content, such as the Active X control.

Some Trojans are referred to as backdoor Trojans. A backdoor Trojan contains a remote administration tool inside of it. A backdoor Trojan often takes the form of a legitimate, installed computer program. This remote administration tool can bypass normal authentication and secretly control the computer you are working on, the computer network, and even the program that is in use. In some cases an authorized administrator uses similar tools for legitimate reasons, but attackers often misuse this technology.

If your computer is a victim of the Troj/TDSS-FU virus, there are ways to remove the virus from your computer. Listed below are the 12 steps to remove Troj/TDSS.FU automatically.

  1. The first step involved in removing the Troj/TDSS-FU is to download Dr.WebCureIt! and save it onto your computer's desktop.
  2. Download Security Space Pro (32-bit) or Secruity Space Pro (64-bit), and save it to the desktop.
  3. Reboot your computer to Safe Mode (press F8 before any Microsoft logo appears).
  4. Double click “cureit.exe” on your desktop, follow the on screen instructions to scan your hard disk. (Wait patiently; it may take 20-60 minutes to perform an express scan.)
  5. After the scan is finished, select all viruses found and choose “Cure.” (If some files are not suitable to be cured, choose “Quarantine” or “Delete.”)
  6. When all viruses found are cured, quarantined, or deleted, reboot to Normal Mode.
  7. Uninstall existing antivirus software which cannot kill the viruses, and then reboot again.
  8. Locate the set-up file of Security Space Pro on your desktop, and double click to run it.
  9. During the set-up, choose to obtain a demo key.
  10. After the first-time update, the scanner will be launched again. Quit the scanner at this point.
  11. Complete the set-up by rebooting the computer.
  12.  When time allows (since this may need several hours), perform a full scan in Dr.Web Scanner

If the Troj/TDSS-FU virus is on your computer and you need to delete infected processes and registry entries, follow these seven steps
