I guess the program works but to be honest it is constantly alerting you to things you really have no way of knowing if you want to allow or not.
But the real reason I uninstalled it was in relation to the fact it's almost impossible to install a program with it. It gave me at least 20 pop up and stop the presses notices while trying to download I-tunes. You can't shut it off long enough to download anything either. It simply won't go away. With Windows Visas craziness and Vipre on top of it, you just about can't download a program. I thought Zone Alarm was a bit hyper, but it's nothing compared to Vipre.

if you would have read and set your active protection to medium you would not have had that problem with all the pop ups. i have tested it with the eicar antivirus software and it works very fast. it is also as advertised light weight on your pc. i have now had it for over 4 months without any problems. it has scanned my pc while i was on the internet without me knowing it until i happened to notice the start up icon turns green meaning a scan is in process. i would give it 9 3/4 stars out of 10 only beacuse nothing is perfect. a great product especially for the price. thanks
