The average user who wants to install and forget about the antivirus software should look into the Gold, Silver or Bronze products. This program does have many nice scanning capabilities - you can scan email attachments in real-time while they are downloading from the POP3 server. Viruses will never make it to your inbox.

ViRobot has had several problems concerning effectiveness. It consistently fails VB 100% tests. The program did pass level 1 & 2 Checkmark from West Coast Labs.

You can choose between manual and automatic updates to keep the software up to date. As far as system resources, this program is not a hog and used about the same amount as the other antivirus products. The scan time was a little higher average; it took 45 minutes to scan an 80 GB hard drive where the average was about 30 minutes.

Overall, there are better products for the same price.
